Super Bowl Prediction: Green Bay Packers

Despite a slow start to the Jordan Love era, the Green Bay Packers found their rhythm midway through the 2023 season. Although they didn’t capture the NFC North title, Love and the team showed significant improvement having secured a playoff spot and pulling off an upset against the Dallas Cowboys. It was a monumental win at Jerry World in the Wild Card round. While the Packers fell short against the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round, the excitement surrounding Green Bay is palpable heading into the 2024 season. Keep in mind, they accomplished all this during a “rebuild” year and I’ll remind everyone that 2023 was supposed to be a down year for the Packers. Impressively they came very close to beating San Francisco and were one game away from the NFC championship game. After a very exiting 2023 season, I’m convinced that the Packers have a legitimate chance to make a Super Bowl appearance this year. The Packers have all the weapons on both sides of the ball and this offseason they signed Safety Xavier McKinney, who’s still young and is easily a top 10 safety in football. They also signed two time Pro Bowl RB Josh Jacobs who will thrive in the Green Bay offense. Further, the Packers took OL Jordan Morgan in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft and also drafted the best LB in the draft, Edgerrin Cooper. Cooper was picked up in the 2nd round, he is a vicious sideline-to-sideline LB. Although people may generally think that my Packers Superbowl prediction may be a little overzealous, consider what they accomplished during a rebuild year. Today, the team seems to have every piston firing at the same time, great coaching, elite quarterback, great O line, strong running & passing game and a solid defense. Lastly, it’s too easy to just pick the Chiefs or 49ers to win it all. I don’t think Chiefs will three-peat and I also don’t believe the 49ers will beat the Packers in a playoff game this year, I have a lot more confidence in Jordan Love than I do with Brock Purdy.
